Auto mechanics at Solomon's Garage

Solomon's Garage:
Bringing Quality To The Auto Industry

Solomon's Garage takes its name from King Solomon. The proverb, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might," resonates with us strongly when it comes to auto repair. Our auto repair shop is different from others because we can work on high-end and imported vehicles. From fixing European engines to rebuilding transmissions, we can do it all.

The Men Who Made It Possible

Our owner, Dave Neer, fell in love with working on cars as a teenager. Eventually, he became a mechanic at Dreyer & Reinbold BMW in Indianapolis. However, his dream wasn't to work at a dealership. Instead, he wanted to open his own auto shop. In 2011, he opened Solomon's Garage with his wife, Katie Neer.

  • KateService Writer

Please help us welcome one of our newest team members Kate Leib! We are honored to have Kate as one of our service writers. She will be one of the first smiling faces you see when you walk into the shop. We've asked Kate a few questions to help us (and you!) get to know her better.

Kate has lived in the area for 20 years and has 2 children. She has a 6 year old girl named Cora and a 1 year old little boy named Hendrix. We are very excited that she knows the area, knows the people and shares our passion for family.

We asked her these questions and the answers are best in her own words!

What is your favorite part of working at Solomon's so far? "My favorite part of working at Solomon's would be the variety of people I get to meet on a daily basis. You never know who is going to walk through the door or what they are going to need."

What do you love to do? "My hobbies outside of work (besides being a mom and playing with my kids) include karaoke and listening to live music."

Who do you respect most in this world? "The person I respect most in this world would definitely be my mom. She has faced so many hardships and not only overcome them, but done so with a smile on her face pulling people up with her at the same time. She has been there for me through my most devastating and my most rewarding times and never left my side."

Please stop in and help us welcome her.
